Waxhaw lists 12 fall and winter events on 2026 calendar

Waxhaw's 2026 community calendar has 12 events still ahead, anchored by the town's largest festival, Autumn Treasures, on Oct. 10.

The Town of Waxhaw published a 24-event calendar spanning March through December. Half of those dates have passed, but the fall and winter lineup offers something nearly every week from September through the holidays.

The biggest remaining draw is Autumn Treasures, set for Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Waxhaw. The town describes it as its biggest festival of the year. This year's event is one day only, according to the town's event page. Expect local crafters on Main Street, local musicians, backyard barbecue teams selling home-cooked meals and a Kids Zone.

September brings three events in quick succession. WXW Sk8 Night returns Friday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. A Patriot Day Ceremony follows Friday, Sept. 11, at 8 a.m. The final Jammin' by the Tracks concert of the season is Friday, Sept. 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. A Movie in the Park rounds out the month Saturday, Sept. 26, starting at 6 p.m.

October also includes National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 5 p.m. and Fright Night on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 4 p.m.

The holiday stretch starts in November. A Veterans Day Ceremony is set for Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m., followed by the Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. December packs in a Senior Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 5, from noon to 2 p.m., the Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m., and Wreaths Across America on Saturday, Dec. 19, at noon. A Menorah Lighting is also listed but has no confirmed date.
